How to Compare Supplement Prices: Bottle Cost vs Cost Per Serving
Compare supplement prices using total checkout cost, bottle count, servings, subscriptions and refund terms—not headline price alone.
Start With Total Purchase Price
A “$29 per bottle” headline can still mean a $174 six-bottle purchase. Unit price and total charge answer different questions.
Calculate Cost Per Serving
Use: bottle price ÷ servings per bottle. For a 60-capsule bottle taken at two capsules daily, there are about 30 daily servings. A $49 bottle is therefore about $1.63 per daily serving.
Bigger Is Not Automatically Better
A larger package may lower unit cost while increasing upfront spending. Consider expected use, storage, refund terms and whether you want several months of a product you have not tried.
Compare Formula, Not Just Price
Two products with the same bottle price can provide different serving counts, doses or ingredient transparency. Price comparison becomes meaningful only after establishing what you are actually buying.
